Description
FLUOROMETHOLONE
- Flurometholone aas 0.1 % dosage is effective in inflammation indced after photorefractive keratectomy (PRK)
- Topical steroid of choice for patients with glaucoma compared to other steroids and dexamethasone 0.1%
TOBRAMYCIN SULPHATE
- A water soluble aminoglycoside antibiotic active against a wide variety of gram negative and gram-postive opthalmic pathogens.
- Effective against species of Pseudomonars.
- Superior of Gentamycin in terms of bettret tissue concentration and lowere mic value against most of Bacteria specially Psedomonas Aeruginosa.
- Works by stoping the growth of bacteria
- Active against susceptible strains of : Staphylococci, including S.Aureus and S.Epidermis including Penicillin – resistant strains.
